Lawrence's Lakeside Cabins in Rockwood, Maine

If you love amazing views and beautiful foliage, this is the place for you! I went recently for a trip to visit my boyfriend’s family and it easily is a great destination for big group gatherings and family reunions! We stayed in the main cabin and it was perfect. There is a huge table in the main cabin to have family meals and chairs on the porch to watch the sunrise and sunset (which are beautiful.) There is so much to do: bags, sitting by the fire pit, kayaks, and a super fun game room! Chris and Heather were amazing and accommodating hosts and I can’t say enough great things about this place! Great for boating and also did a hike at the amazing Mt. Kineo! The cabins are also very cute and the attention to detail in the decor is immaculate. The vibe of this place is great and will definitely be a great getaway for the upcoming fall and winter months! I would definitely go back :)

We had so much fun! We had a fire every night, they provided firewood and we grilled with the provided grill. The cabin was clean with an amazing view of the lake and mountains. Very breathtaking. We will definitely be staying at Lawrence's Lakeside Cabins again!

Unbelievable is the first word that comes to mind when thinking of the view and cabin. We stayed in the “Twilight” cabin and woke up to a refreshing lookout of Moosehead Lake each morning. Cabin was perfect with just the right amount of accommodations needed to make your experience perfect. If your looking for a place unwind and connect with the most beautiful scenery in the nation, this is the place for you!

Awesome spot- woke up to beautiful sunrise over the lake right from bed. Super helpful host. Loved that it's dog friendly & the hosts offered us an extra day at a discounted rate so we extended our stay!

Such a great location! The views were gorgeous and everything from a fire pit to kayaks to food locations were accessible. Came here just for the night and definitely will visit for a longer weekend!

Absolutely IN LOVE with this cabin. Everything was wonderful. So much room. Stocked kitchen. Plenty of towels. Comfy beds. Can’t wait to stay here again. Group of 9, plenty of parking for trucks and trailers. Coffee bar was PERFECT! Loved having 2 coffee machines ready to go. Shuffle board and arcade games were a huge hit. TV watching was kept to a minimum. Fully stocked kitchen. They think of everything!

Stay here! I can’t recommend it enough. The place is super cute and there’s so much seating out by the water and beyond clean. We brought our dog and they had a dog bed and dog bowls and even a leash. There are pet poop bags around the facility. So many things I couldn’t have even thought of asking for. 10/10 worth the money.
